Step One: Gathering materials to get started. On left: Four sixteen foot planks of western red cedar. Will be cut into 3/4″ x 1/4″ strips to form the hull.

On right: CNC cut (computer controlled router cut from CAD drawings) pieces to form the base box that construction will take place on.
